WHAT CONDITION IS YOUR ROOF IN?

• How are the shingles holding up? Are they showing any wear? How soon before they need to be replaced?
• Is the attic properly ventilated? (Lack of ventilation can cause the shingles to deteriorate and shorten their life expectancy.)
• Are the pipe flashings holding up? (This is the number one place for leaks in roofs.)
• Does the flashing around the chimney and walls need to be caulked?
• Did Mother Nature damage the shingles with wind and/or hail?

Many roof leaks can be stopped before they start, and usually for a lot lower cost than having to fix the leak, much less having to repair damage the leak caused to the interior of the house, such as sheetrock. There is some truth in the old wise saying, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

ROOF TUNE-UP and REPORT

We offer a Roof Tune-Up and Report so that you can have peace of mind about your roof. Here are some of the items included:

• Inspect the roof for problems or damage (storms, foreign objects, installation issues, …)
• Repair pipe vent flashing collars (number one cause of leaks in roofs)
• Caulk vents, flashings and nail holes
• Repair exposed nail heads (nail pops)
• 21-point roof inspection

When we have completed the Roof Tune-Up we will provide you with a report that shows you the condition of your roof and the repairs that were completed.
